INTER MILAN STAR SAMUEL ETO’O AMONG STARS FACING FC DALLAS IN AUG. 5 CONTEST

Inter confirms roster for North American tour

FRISCO, Texas (July 8, 2010) –Inter Milan head coach Rafa Benitez is planning a star-studded roster, including fan favorite Samuel Eto’o, for the Italian side’s North American tour this August.

Inter faces FC Dallas at at 8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 5, and Benitez is busy making plans for the North American road trip.

“We’re really looking forward to getting quality games to help prepare for our season,” said Benitez, whose club begins Serie A play in late August. “We’d like as many of our players as possible in place to really gauge where we are while we have an opportunity to face good competition in FC Dallas, Panathinaikos and .”

The only Inter Milan player not currently confirmed for the trip is Wesley Sneijder, as the Dutch star is preparing for Sunday’s World Cup Final. Eto’o, Javier Zanetti, Dejan Stankovic, Julio Cesar, Maicon and Champions’ League hero Diego Milito are among the stars expected at in August.

Anyone who purchases tickets to the Aug. 5 Inter Milan game between now and July 19 will earn access to a private team practice session the night before the match.
