The below information is only intended for the individuals listed as team captains. 

Team Registration
CAPTAINS ONLY- January 6th through January 27th
If your team is a returning team to MSA or a new team forming to play in the Spring Adult Soccer League, you must notify the MSA office by no later than 1/27/25 by 5pm.  You can email admin@mckinneysoccer.org to inform us of your team's intent for Spring 2025.

Team Roster Minimums
Each Open/Over 30 team must have at least 12 players & Over 40 must have at least 8 players. These players must be completely registered and paid by February 14th in order for us to schedule your team to play in the Spring 2025 season.  If teams do not meet the roster minimums by this deadline, they will be dropped from playing.

Registration Dates/Deadlines

• Player Registration: January 6th through February 24th
• Team Entry Deadline: 5pm January 27, 2025
• Team Roster Minimums deadline: February 14, 2025
• LATE Player Registration: February 25th through March 7th (add $5 to fee)
• Any team needing to add a player after 3/7/25 must contact Charity at admin@mckinneysoccer.org  It will be considered on a case by case basis

Adult League Season Dates

• March 2nd - Season begins for Open & Over 30
• March 6th -Season begins for Over 40
• Mid-May 2025- Tentative season end

Makeup Days
For weather cancellations and/or scheduling conflicts, MSA will utilize Tuesday nights for Over 40 reschedules and Wednesday nights for Open and Over 30 reschedules. 

Forfeits

If you cannot make any scheduled game due to any reason, it is the team captains responsibility to notify Charity at the MSA office via email admin@mckinneysoccer.org Over 40 teams must notify by Tuesday 9am that they will forfeit their scheduled Thursday game; Open/Over 30 teams must notify by Friday 9am that they will forfeit their scheduled Sunday game.  If a team gives no notice or not enough notice that they cannot play; the first time offense will be a warning.  If it happens again a 2nd time then they team will be fined a forfeit fee of $50. If it happens a 3rd time the fee will increase to $100 ($50 increase for each subsequent offense) and the team may not be invited back to play in the league.
